We recently had my daughters engagement party here. We were badly let down by another local pub and the week before the party had to find somewhere else . The hill rest hotel really stepped up and organised food , disco ,room and bar. We had a lovely evening, the food was excellent and the disco was lively. I can't thank them enough . They were amazing.

The food was great the quality of the meat was good and the staff were friendly. As it was so reasonably priced to stay over we made a night of it and booked a room which again was really nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a function friendly staff, good food and a nice room. We will definitely be going back.

I had my 30th Birthday meal here at The Hillcrest Hotel, and all I can say is how happy I was with the whole service provided for me! From first booking my function to the very last goodbye at the end of the evening. They were always accommodating, the Chef was brilliant allowing for my dairy intolerant diners with dairy free yorkshire puddings and desserts.
